I am trying to put new patterns in to data cad and the instructions said to copy the new patterns that are in a text format and paste them into the
dcadwin.pat file but i can not open that file because it is in some kind of data base. Can anyone help. thanks

First, what version of Datacad are you using, and where are the hatch files from? Open notepad, then open the dcadwin.pat file from notpad to bypass whatever program .pat files are associated with. If your using 11, there is a different way of doing things. Let us know what your working with and we will go from there.
