Is there a way to get batch plot to ignore orphan file messages and just plot the file anyway?

Also, is there a way to instantly run a check plot set from the batch file menu without having to switch it in each file?

1. Not that I'm aware of.
2. No, but this is an absolute necessity. Actually, the only way to ensure
this is to never use the plot feature for anything other than batch plotting,
or else threaten your project team with slow and painful death if anybody
ever forgets to switch plot settings back to batch plot settings immediately
after they plot. Batch plotting - or "final plot" or "con doc plot" - needs to
have its own separate group of settings, immune from everyday
DataCAD use.

I see this was asked before, but would be nice to have a selection box in the Batch Plot Dialog so one could ignore orphaned file errors.

Guess I need a little primer on Batch Plotting GTV.
Want to do a quick plot to letter size for 11 of my many GTV.
change from my regular (bullzip) printer and 24x36 paper to my desk printer,
Go to Batch Plot
Select the GTV I want to plot
Select Print
All I get is blank pages.
How does one set up a GTV to print in the middle of sheet? Should be a autorotate, center option somewhere.

When batch printing GTVs, the data on the gtv's needs to be centered at the same location. We use Absolute Zero here in our office. Think of it this way, the entities stay in the same location and you are placing the paper over them. The location of the print doesn't change, so if the entities are outside of the quick layouts location, they will be missed.

I guess it's not that useful to me then. I'd like to be able to plot multiple GTV on partial plans spread across the whole building.
Would be nice if one could plot based on each GTV extents. Like I indicated, a auto rotate and center would be nice.

That is a good idea Roger for a new option which makes sense to me. :D
