Hello, I'm trying to import dwg and dxf format drawings from Archicad into Datacad. Are we compatible? The drawing does appear, but things are not correct. I've talked to the Archicad designer. He draws and has his drawing set up as drawing in 3D. What can be done? Help.

Have them send you a test file with a few elements (walls, dims, text etc.) converted to DWG format and then import it. It should import...in fact DataCAD's DWG import appears to be better than importing into AutoCAD which Archicad from time to time has problems with.
