Does anyone know of a good way of turning an object into a light source? I used the Sweep feature of the 3D tools macro to make a rope light and I would like to make it shine as a light in O2C. Because it is long, placing light sources inside the rope with Shader doesn't seem to work out too well. I tried assigning a self-illuminating material to it (Self-Illuminate option in "Material Assignments" in the material editor) and while this causes it to somewhat glow in O2C, it doesn't actually give off any light (the material just looks brighter in O2C).
