We have six computers running Outlook 2000 and on one machine, there is a problem with the inbox. It started about a four months ago when the "Inbox" display 2 unread messages, but there where not messages display as unread. Currently the number has risen to six. I am getting very fustrated with this machine, I cannot seem to find the problem. I have reloaded the outlook.pst file and that didn't change anything. I am looking for any suggestions and help. Thank you very much for all that can help.

If you say "any help is welcome", I'll give you my two cents.

I don't use Outlook. I use Netscape, since when there was only it...

In Netscape I was able to just rename the "Inbox" file/folder to any other name.

So, when you enter again in the mail engine it creates automatically a new "Inbox", completely empty. There can be a similar way with Outlook.
