Datacad is distorted on my 23" widescreen... how can I fix this?

Select "Program Preferences" from the "Tools" pull-down menu, and then go to the "Interface" tab. Click the "Screen Calibration" button in the upper right. Measure the lines in the test pattern, and then enter the decimal values into the appropriate fields. Do not include the units.

For example, if the vertical line measures 8-1/2", type 8.5 into the "Height of Vertical Line" field. When you have entered values into both fields, click OK, and then click OK again to dismiss the Preferences dialog.

When you return to the drawing, the screen should now be calibrated. It should be noted that the test pattern does not change, only the drawing area does.

It could also be that you need a newer video driver. What brand is your video card?
