Using dacad 16 v 16.04 00 04 SE with inference snapping on (tried with off as well).

Editing a vertical polygon and trying to move the vertex to the intersection of 2 lines with a zbase and height, lower and higher respectively than the polygon.
The add vertex works but cannot snap to the intersection when using move vertex.

What am I doing wrong (something probably obvious) !!

Probably.

You just need to click on the poly near the relevant vertex and it will jump to the cursor. You can then take it to anything snappable in the view.
