For some reason, every time I hit "Print" the machine cranks away and I get the following message "Checking Output Availability." I don't remember that happening before - perhaps this is linked to the huge files I now have? (Previous posting explains that the files aren't being crunched anymore).

for your file issue, check in the Dcadwin.ini file for the following line
Compressed Drawing Files=TRUE

Thanks, Roger... I traced the problem to an xref being huge in size for some reason.
