Any ideas why when a drawing crashes, if the .ARF file exists it would not be used or prompted that it exists when you reopen the file?

Good question Josh - we had the building power interrupted yesterday afternoon and one of the staff found out the hard way that their UPS wasn't working. They lost the whole day's work. DataCAD is set to autosave every 2 minutes and the staff member regularly saves (F on the keyboard and saving using the icon). When he went to reopen the file it crashed straight away leaving just DataCAD and a grey screen. The ARF and ARB files were still left on the drive and nothing worked when he attempted to reopen the file. Apart from getting a new UPS is there anything else that needs to be done to ensure better odds in recovering files if there's a power outage or crash?
