Help -- Cannot print

Something has changed in my DataCAD 17 program.
I made some alterations to an existing file and when I went to print, the program reverted to the DataCAD gray screen with a little blue circle going round and round ad infinitum. This has never happened to me before. The client is anxious to receive the revised .pdfs.
I checked for updates and received the message that my program was up to date.
I uninstalled DC17 and reinstalled. Same problem with printing. Tried to print a couple of other files that have printed successfully in the past. Same problem.
To be clear, the program works normally until I press "Print/Plot". Then it locks up.
Anybody else experienced this??
