Layer Menu

Recently I've run into an issues that appears now to be across all Datacad files:
If I initiate the Layer menu either by L or navigating directly I'm kicked out of the file.
I can use the Layer manager to turn layers off and on.

Any thoughts?

Exit DataCAD, Right-Click on your DataCAD icon, select Run as Administrator and perform a Check for Update....

It sounds like MS gifted you a Windows update when you weren't looking.
