I am trying to set up a 4 line 2x6 wall with Dots as the hatch type in the cavity of the 2x6 wall. The dots (hatch) show up between lines 3 and 4 instead of the center of the 2x6 wall wall which are lines 2 &3. I have done this wall type before and had no problem now. When I designate center for the hatch pattern its returns to the wrong cavity which is lines 3 &4 versus line 2&3.
anyone have any ideas what I am doing wrong.

You are asking about Smart Walls, right?

Are you hitting "apply" after making the change?
Do you change the "inside" setting to not do hatch, then change the "center" setting to do the hatch, hitting apply each time?
