I have 2 printing issues to HP 430:
1. When printing a pdf a vertical section of the image does not print even though it shows in print preview
2. the printer ignores orientation in print setup and always prints a size "C" rotated.

For your first issue it sounds as if there is an issue with your printhead. Is it the same area regardless of the printed page size (ie. same area whether it's a Ledger size versus a 24x36)?

For the second issue you may need to check your printer properties through Windoze.
