F keys dealing with layers crashes drawing

Hello, I hope someone can help me with this: keyboard shortcuts dealing with layers instantly crashes my drawings. Commands such as L-F1, L-F2, and M-F4 and well as [L-mouse click on On/Off-pick layer on drawing].
I have: rebooted computer, repaired DataCAD 18 installation, uninstalled and reloaded DataCAD 18.
It happens on DataCAD 17 and 18. BUT not on DataCAD 12.
Any ideas?

The newest Windows 10 update seems to be the culprit. I went back to the previous Windows 10 version and everything works perfectly.

I am having this same problem--just started after upgrading to Windows 10. I am using on DCAD 17. Any update on the fix?

I think they posted an update on the website for both v17 & 18.

DataCAD 16 was also included in the fix! Many Thanks to the folks at DataCAD for that!!!!

I ran the update but it isn't updating properly. It still says there is an update available 17.04.02.02, but after doing the update, my version is still 17.02.00.09. Help?

Close DataCAD and right-click on your DataCAD desktop icon and choose "Run as Administrator" and do "Check for Update" again.
