Is there a way to clip nested XREFS? For some reason I can't get a nested XREF clip differently for different GTVs. As a work around I am copying the XREFs to different layers and manually clipping them for each view - seems like there should be a way around this.
In the Reference File Manager, try checking "Merge with Parent Clip Cube" under the "Nested XClip and SClip" section at the bottom of the manager.
If you have GTV Link set to 'On" make sure you update the appropriate GoToView using the View Manager. Update the view in the Layer Manager doesn't update this particular setting.
Given the potential overhead issues associated with nested xrefs (long file opening times), it's not always a bad idea to enter the nested reference files directly anyway.
