editing DataCad 12 files in DataCad 18

I'm having problems with key commands and selection commands (doors and windows) while working in a file that was created with DC12. I'm working in DC18, but the same problem exists in DC17.

What kind of problems? What commands and steps cause the problems? Need a little more to go on here

Thanks Josh, but I found that "Auto 3D" had been selected.

If you are having issues with command line aliases that you created in 12 and are now using is 18, check and see if they trying to change something in the Line Type menu. The new version moved the "Manage" tab to S8 and I think S8 used to be "Spacing".
