I am quite new to data cad... and having an issue with exporting to sketch up. The model comes in clean and accurate. However instead of being a solid wall with the ability to push/pull... the walls are cavities which makes editing in sketch up a problem.

Is there any settings in data cad which removes this problem. Such as filling the walls... or adding a hatch to walls?

The import is the edges of the polygons - you have to draw a side in SU, and it will fill in the surface again.

Something is off. Can you post a screen shot of the imported SU model?
Also what version of SU are you importing to?
Are you getting the same results exporting and importing a DWG into SU?
