We have one computer that has had a message two times in the last 2 weeks saying, "DataCAD has a problem that has caused Windows to shut down".

This is a serious problem. We've lost work. What's wrong?

The last time we had this, we replaced our server where all cad files are stored. It was still operating on XP, my guru said that was the problem. Now what?

Hi Dwight,

What version of Windows, and DataCAD are on that machine? What work is being done when it happened? How new/old is the computer?

Both relatively new to me cpu's, recent powerful units. One just purchased 2 wks ago when this happened last. The other was purchased this spring. Both reported by the dealer to be clean, safe and powerful.
DataCAD 18.03.00.06

Is there a specific command that causes this? Does it happen in all drawings? If it's a specific function, does it happen with a new default file? Maybe look into adding Datacad folder and dcadwin.exe to your anti virus's list of exceptions.
