The work around to get Ctrl z back working is to go to the Hatch menu and exit out of it. It does work. Just don't expect to undo several things right after that. They seem to get out of order and when you Ctrl y to get them back, you won't be happy. It's sort of funny how it gets confused. But at least you don't have to close out of DataCAD and reopen what you were working on.

I was experimenting with the undo redo to see what would happen after it starts working. Best to just move forward. Thanks for the tip Dave.
