Datacad 18

I have recently upgraded from version 11 using Windows 7 to version 18 using Windows 10. The view on my monitor is not clear and giving the appearance of double thickness lines compared to the earlier version. I have checked the screen resolution and it is set correctly - 1080p, 1920x1080.
Can anybody assist?

The first thing I would check is the video driver - what is the video chipset brand?

All sorted thanks, I did read a previous post and the issue is now solved.
On another matter, can you turn off the line snap text that come every time you snap on and end point or mid point?Thanks,

Can you advise me how to off the dialogue box showing 'nearest and mid points' when object snapping.

Tools / Program Preferences / Drawings Tab / Hint box under Dynamic Snapping, uncheck it.
