PAK DRAWINGS

I created a pak file in version 18 with the latest update and when I opened in with version 16 at home the drawing was all different. How do I correct this problem? Logging out of 18 every time I want to draw on a different computer is really not an option as it is too time consuming. I did not have this issue prior to doing the update.

Have you tried just coping the file vs. PAK-ing it? Just curious if it's the PAKing process or a version issue.

I tried coping the drawing directly instead of using the pak process. I opened the same way. Xreferences were all different so I am assuming that the problem was created after I did the latest update to version 18.

This sounds like a pathing issue, or that the files that are being xref'd are not the same versions at home as you have at work.

I didn't have the issue until after I did the update. I am going to try to open the drawing in 17 at work and save it to my thumb drive to see if that might shed some light on the issue.

Look at your paths in Preferences - these do NOT get updated when you upgrade (they never have, so it's not something new). I'm guessing that you changed it at work but not at home.
