Spindles and newel posts

Does anyone know of a manufacturer's :shock: internet site, (manufacuters stair railings) that have dxf or dwg drawings of their spindles and railings so I can import them to use on a stair detail...

You'll have to register to get to their details (go to "Architect Resources" and "CAD Blocks" to get to the registration page), but it's pretty painless. They will require at least a two sentence statement of what the project is.

Take a look at the Fypon design website. It allows you to put together anf entire assembly using Fypon parts, then export to .dwg 2d and/or 3d. In DataCAD, the .dwg comes in as a symbol and looks very good in o2c. You will need to register then download and install a plug-in or two. And it requires W2000 or higher.
