Finding a lost symbol
Posted: Tue Sep 13, 2011 4:51 pmI needed to hunt down a lost symbol but didn't know what layer it was on, just that it existed within the drawing somewhere. So I added another copy of the symbol to my drawing, double clicked on it to edit it, and added a HUGE line (+1000') to the symbol closed and saved the symbol. Turned on all the layers and bingo! The existing symbol was showing the newly added line which made it easy to identify and locate.
