I've just started using a mouse with a scroll wheel, so
forgive me if I'm way out of date here. When I use
the wheel for "real time" zooming using Alt+Ctrl+wheel
I've discovered that I can go in beyond the 200 scale
limit all the way to 500 and can back out way above the
1:1000 limit up to something like 4.9e-07. FWIW
