A DataCad state of mind in Renderise Live has to be as much by good luck as good management. Nonetheless I have finally worked out that you can sort out GTVs in RL. What you have to do is stay away from "views" and think in terms of planned parenthood.. A "parent" is a GTV and the children are the layers within. You have to detach the layers from the original parent, make a new parent for each GTV and then attach the loose layers to same. It's all on p298 299 of the manual.

I think a better option is to break up your model into GTVs in DataCad and export each GTV as a separate DXF. THose DXF will keep the right relationships with each other when they are loaded into RL.

...RL doesn't remember lights that have been set up for each view, only the cameras used and view angles....not quite as good as DataCAD's GTV's....but useable.
