FYI,

You can use this registry file to add the following options to your Windows Explorer context menu (i.e., right-click on a file).

Copy To Folder …
Move To Folder …

Just save the zipped REG file to your desktop or some other temporary location. Extract CopyToMoveTo.reg, then right-click on this file and select Merge to add the entries to your Windows registry.

Afterward, you’ll be able to right-click on any file in Windows Explorer and copy or move it to a new folder without having to open another Explorer window first.

thanks Mark.
Now if I could get added to the typical file command the
Recent Folders item, that is a nice feature that Windows doesn't appear to have.

I'm not getting the Merge option when I right-click the extracted .reg file. Does this work for Vista?

You should be able to just double click on the 'CopyToMoveTo.reg' to add it (or any registry entry) to the registry. This tweak works in Vista.

How do I remove this after I have put it in.

It seems to be interferring when I try to print or open with .pdf files.
I'll select a file and when I open with Acrobat, the copy to and move to screens both pop up.

Hello Roger,

You may have to manually edit your Registry. Look for these two keys and delete them:

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AllFilesystemObjects\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers\{C2FBB630-2971-11D1-A18C-00C04FD75D13}]
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AllFilesystemObjects\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers\{C2FBB631-2971-11D1-A18C-00C04FD75D13}]

I would back up the Registry first, for our friend Justin Case. You can do this with the Start/Program Files/Accessories/System Tools/System Restore.
