Hello,

If you are in a PDF text document in Adobe Reader 8, and you toggle on the View/Read Out Loud feature -- you can have it read a page, or read the whole document out loud to you! :-0 The voice is an "electronic" sounding male, with a surprising amount of inflection -- but it can still sound a bit monotone.

It works, but you might also get some odd results: I tried it with the July issue of Cheap Tricks, and it reads a long string of (apparently) header stuff at the beginning, and the columns can get confusing. It reads the captions "inline" with the text of the article. But for documents with simple formatting, this could be a useful tool.
