Here's what some the hatch patterns that I purchased from Cheap Tricks look like:

Here is the code for a combined CMU - Split face to match the previously posted image. The only draw back to this way of doing it is you can't have different colors.

That worked like a charm. I input the hatches separated as I prefer the grout lines to be more pronounced. That was a lot of work and I appreciate the time you took to make that work.

I'm totally new to all of this. I bought Cheap tricks mostly for the shake and board & batten hatchs but I can't use them. The only file with the circle-in-a-square icon is dacadwin.pat. It's 87Kb compared to 1Kb for most the datacad supplied hatches and it doesn't have the DHP extension. I tried copying it to the support files folder with windows browser and renaming the extension but it doesn't show up under available hatches. What should I be doing?

Greetings Steve,

In the Hatch/Manage dialog, you can use the Convert button: browse to where this new PAT file is, and then it will create a DHP file for each of the hatch patterns contained in the PAT file. :)

Thank you Thankyou. :!: It didn't seem to work at first, but then suddenly there they all were! Odd scales, but use-able. Thanks for the quick reply
