Is there any way to get the the ini file from dcad18 to work in dcad 19? When I tried to use it I got a message that it was missing an rgb file.
You could copy the portion of the .ini file that you need. You looking to copy the pathnames?

I found out what the problem was. I had to add our companies RGB file and I had to change the path from the server to my own drive for the support files.
I can state, categorically, it's really not a good idea to copy a previous version's INI file to a new installation.

I kinda get the idea you don't think it's a good idea then, in fact I'd go as far to say "it just shouldn't be done"
