TTF Speed Up Tips

Anyone have any tips or know of an ini tweak that might help speed up TTF's display? We have switched to all TTF's to help aid in DWG translation and while on drawing sheets where text may only make up 20%-40% of the onscreen entities the TTF's speed is manageable, not great but usable. When I get to our note sheets things come to a screeching halt any time Mtext is selected for things like identify or ctrl+right clicking on it to get to the context menus, editing. Basically anytime Datacad "highlights" it to show that Mtext is being worked with or when a large amount of plain text using TTF's is redrawn, or switching to the GTV's that make up our note sheets. Just wondering if anyone might have any tweaks that might help speed things up a little. I've thinned out the complexity of the TTF being used so it's not too complex. Thanks for any ideas.

Turn off the Font's Fill until you are ready to export or print?

Can we do that with MText?

Depending on your choice of Font and output size-printed, you may not even need to turn fill 'on'.
Conversely -- and perversely -- the opposite can be faster depending on the font and your drivers; just turn 'on' the fill without the outline.
