Hi there
im just setting up a new computer and want to intall datacad , do i just install the trial version onto the new computer and then use my ID and password and then copy my personalised files eg pen tables , macros etc. across.

Be sure to use the same path. Chances are, you are using the default path, but if not it could create difficulties or at least make things more difficult than they could be.
If you do use exactly the same path, you won't have to worry about picking through all of the files within DataCAD and placing them into the proper folders. What you can do then is just copy your entire DataCAD folder with all the files and pasting it directly on to the new computer. Overwrite everything. No problem and super simple.
