I think that it would sure be nice to see them available in the dropdown menus so that we could access them transparently with a Ctrl+key combination.
I'm using them, but not as consistently as I would if I could keep the heads up concept running.
Are there any other thoughts about them that I'm missing?

you could always do a command alias Ctrl-Space-h-return all left handed keys.

I did that, but being that I am a lazy wretch, I wanted to be able to do it in a single step... since Dave G. has to do all of the hard work so that I can do it easily.
