I have imported a dxf file from a collaborator using an old chief architect. I start with explode on 3d menus that converts polylines to 3d lines. On an old computer I have used the convert 3d lines to 2d lines macro 3dlincvt macro. How do I install this macro that is still accessed on Datacad download page. I have forgotten how to do this. I did click the program and chose datacad19 as the app to open in. The computer acted like it processed something. However, it does not show up on the list of macros in toolbox menu. I know that this is not supported by Datacad. However, it worked flawlessly on old computer. Your help will be appreciated.
Try copying the macro (.dcx) into your \DataCAD\Macros folder then it should be visible when you use macros in DataCAD.
DataCAD user since v4!
