Importing DFX and DWG files
Posted: Tue Jan 28, 2020 4:37 pmI am trying to import a DWG file, but when I follow the steps in the Manual, all that comes up is a box saying "Symbol" and OK. When I click on OK nothing happens.

Posted: Tue Jan 28, 2020 5:05 pmThat's an erroneous message that occurs when you try to import a DWG file that was saved in a newer version than DataCAD's DWG translator supports. You'll need to save the DWG file 'down' to an older version like R2017 for DataCAD 19 and 20. DataCAD 21 supports R2018 - R2020.
