INPUT PROBLEM

Good Day all
I recently had to reinstall DataCad 19 after Windows was corrupted by a power outage
Prior to the reinstallation I could tap the Tilde key, input a distance and then draw the necessary line. Now the Tilde button does not work and the only way I can get the next point to start drawing is to create a circle of the required radius and then draw the line. This is incredibly slow and tedious.
I do not know if I have failed to set something in the preferences or not .
PLEASE HELP.
Thanks
MikeB

I've had something similar years ago and it ended up being the keyboard or some other input device that had been damaged from the lightning strike which went through the UPS!

Have a go at changing your keyboard or at least try it in a different port first as the USB port may be the issue, then look at a different keyboard if the problem persists. Hope this helps.
