Print in Color

I believe we used to be able to print in color without jumping through hoops.
What is the purpose of Printing > WYSYWG?

We seem to have added functionality in Pen Tables for color... and have lost some simple functionally.
Why can't I just print in color with the pen table colors?
Nothing seems to work.

Even when I try I simple color mapping using the pen tables
IE pen 1 to cyan there is no mapping.

Is this a print driver problem? No, I've tried several printers.

Are you referring to Pen #1-15. Make sure "Al Black" is not checked.
Also, Pen#16 is the screen color.

I've change all standard colors to be pen#16 Have WYSIWYG button selected,
Still B&W when I go to print.
I've forgotten how to do this, if I ever did it. Perhaps not, we used penwidth forever.

I wonder what I am missing here.

No not actually, when I go to print it comes up in B&W
The color you see is just the screen display.
Happy 4th! Can't sail so I am doing a drawing for the new winter cover.

So in another drawing, same pen table. Now it looks like it will plot in color because the color is showing in the preview window.
What is different? ...Beats me! Still don't know the answer. One drawing works the other doesn't. BizarreO. Only difference I know about, is I selected "In Order"

In the Tools drop-down menu, what does your Palette file look like?

Thanks, the two color pallettes for the two different drawings look the same to me.
Here is the palette for the drawing that isn't showing color in the print preview screen.

Don't know if it would help any, but maybe before you open it, do a File/Repair on the file. Might clean up something? :? :? 8)

What if you saved the palette from the file that works, then load that palatte into the one that doesn't??

I tried saving the file to a new name, but perhaps that does not do it.
It occurred to me that this file had an image attachment to get the basic shape of the hull right by tracing.
Since that was long ago, the image has been moved and there is a message that comes up about a missing image file each time I open it.
Might that be the problem?

Tried a repair. The colors are still not there.
Looking to remove the orphan bitmap. Can't find it.

Tried save as the palette for the other drawing, then selected that defaut-rick plalette and it really did not change anything. Good idea though.

Maybe it is that orphan image?
