Hello Roger, I have looked in Messages/Labels and it isn't there. I have DataCAD 20 LT. Maybe that's the reason. This is the only machine that I have installed it on.

Have to ask, in you Font Dialog box, is TTF box checked?

Yes, I have TTF checked. I get the list of TTF fonts ok, but "DATACAD" is not in the TTF list.

I didn't make it clear...I should have been more specific. I am looking for "DataCAD" fonts within the TTF drop-down list. Thanks!

How can I insert the Plus/Minus symbol in .shx font? I dont have a character map available in my Arcwy2lc.shx?

Is there a special code i just type in and DC converts it to the symbol?

Try [Alt] + 0146 for the plus/minus (i.e. hold the 'Alt' key down and type '0146' using the numeric keypad (does not work if you use the numbers on the alpha side of the keyboard)).

Also somewhere is a fonts.aec file that has shows the fonts and what ones have the special characters.
