I recently opened an old drawing to perform some revisions.

Don't know how I did it but any new dimension text shows on screen as white (old color was yellow)

Any new text shows on screen as white (old color was red)

I can change the size and font of the new text but not the color. When I alt-I the text, it identifies as the correct true type font.

Any existing text and dimensions on the drawing remain as original colors.

I could maybe live with white but when I try to print, the new white color is very faint, not acceptable.

Any ideas what might have happened? Using DC21 win10.

Have you checked the Font settings and make sure the True Type Font fill/outline boxes are checked to use the correct color for the outline and fill is set.

You can change the settings for the white color to your liking.

Here's a new twist on an old problem.

Today I worked on an older drawing. Everything looked normal on the DC screen but when I went to print, all the text and dimensions showed up faint. I reviewed font fill settings and Truetype fill/outline settings had changed. Moved them back to Both and checked both boxes and everything returned to normal.

This may or may not apply here (since this is V21), but recently Mark discovered that in whatever Micro$oft did with their last few Win 11 (not sure about Win 10) updates affected some of DC's routines.

Hopefully Mark, Clay or Josh can chime in whether I'm all wet or if there's a sliver of truth.
