Why can I not change the thickness of a smart wall? I have also tried creating a new wall type, but I am unable to define the thickness of the wall...

Also, as a side note, I can not remove the CMU pattern from the CMU Smart Wall and don't see where the material is specified...

Once you have the new wall type, you have to change the wall to the new type.

Wall type manager > Line Settings > Line Properties > Offset from Previous Line
