We just had a Windows update an as a consequence, our top of symbol browser position puts the top of the window outside any screen access to allow repositioning the window so we can't access the menus.

We work with dual monitors and the symbol window is on the second.

Does anyone know how to reposition the window without being able to access the top of the window?

Thanks.

In Windows 10, 8, 7, and Vista, hold down the “Shift” key while right-clicking the program in the taskbar, then select “Move“. In Windows XP, right-click the item in the task-bar and select “Move“. In some instances, you may have to select “Restore“, then go back and select “Move“.

Use your mouse or the arrow keys on your keyboard to move the window back onto the screen.

There is a file that you can edit, to get various the dialog boxes to go to their default sizes and positions. I think it is the dcadwindialogs.gui, but I would ask Mark or Clay.

Another possible method is to change the resolution of the monitor that the Template is on - reduce it and then set it back to the correct maximum, and it should be pushed so that you can get it working.

Same issue but this time when we select the Folder icon from the symbol browser, the folder window is off screen, showing just the bottom.

Going back to the dcadwintoolbars.gui, can't locate the section/line that controls the window location.

Any thoughts?
