exporting plans with symbols

Posted: Thu Oct 29, 2020 1:09 pmWe don't have issues with symbols being exported to DWG here. Our main issue is text layout and overruns between fonts in Datacad and DWG.

Posted: Thu Oct 29, 2020 1:56 pmSymbols have been exporting to blocks virtually flawlessly for a very long time. It is self references (self XRef) and highlighted XRefs that take a bit of work, sometimes.

Posted: Thu Oct 29, 2020 6:04 pmWe have just experienced symbols with layers not exporting correctly which was reported in the beta section this month. What was displayed in DataCAD didn't export correctly to DWG with the symbol having either some or all of the layers turned off in the DWG file. This was related to self-xrefs also having some issues in bv22 and the MSP-bind-current then export of either the self-xref or symbol with layers. The drawings were originally started in v21.
