Just today when i clicked on folder in the "symbol browser" i can not acces my folders with symbols. I can only acces the maps on the dekstop. Also in Program Preferences i can not set the pathnames to other maps than the maps om my desktop. very strange!
I deleted and installed Datacad 21 completely but it doesn't change anything.
Any suggestions?

Are you running Windows 11?

If you have recently updated Windows 11 then I suggest you read the forum discussion at https://www.datacad.com/bbs/viewtopic.php?f=73&t=17881&p=81736&hilit=desktop#p81735 in the DataCAD 22 thread as your symptoms appear the same as those discussed there (and Mark Madura offers a workaround in his latest post to this thread).

As a caveat, make SURE you follow the instructions and copy the OneDrive sync'd files/shortcuts/etc. BEFORE you stop the backup sync. You'll then need to re-populate your desktop, but it does give you control back of the folders.

I'am running Datacad om windows 11 version 22H2 and seem to have the same issues as in the thread above mentioned.
I will look into it further and try to resolve the issue.
