I wish that the "identify/set all" function would pick up the underline / no underling factor on text.

I *think* that the reason this might be difficult, is that MText is the text entity that can support underline fonts, and a given MText entity can contain both underline fonts and regular fonts? So it might have both types - and it can't "know" which one you want?

I rarely use M-text or P-text, so that wouldn't be an issue. Could "identify / set all" for just "regular" text pick up the underline factor?
