How do I switch off this Macro Hint bar?

are you using a macro?
I turned on every toolbar in the list and tried to mirror and nothing like that showed up.
reboot and try again?

I had to install the latest Beta version and now this appears when I select the Mirror menu

I have never seen this Toolbar, and I am not getting it when I go to Mirror menu in latest version, but you could try checking the Disable Macro Hint Toolbar option in Program Preferences. This option exists in previous versions, and I don't have it checked (even though I am not seeing the toolbar), but hopefully it will fix your problem ...

what version are you on, I'm using ver 22.02.15.06(SE) and can not see it and like Dave (dhs) it's unchecked in Prog Pref and I still don't see it.
Looked in the .ini file and it shows as
Suppress Macro Hint Toolbar=False
I even turned it on to see if it worked in reverse logic, didn't see it.

For some unknown reason, I missed reading this function

By selecting it, the function switched off after restarting the program.

Still a bit of a mystery to me why I (and Roger) have never seen this given that the checkbox is not checked ....
