I used to be able to accomplish this, but nothing seems to be working right now?
Has something changed? ...or have I forgotten what is required?
I have tried different printer drivers including Microsoft PDF driver and several HP Officejet drivers.
In Print > Pen Table > uncheck "Print all in Black"
In Print > Pen Table > checked "Map fill colors to Pen colors"
I have tried loading other tables and resetting the table.

I need the colors to show for understanding by someone.
B&W is too dense!

Check you do have the printer driver set to color and not mono or grey scale

What Pen number is the color pens set to?
For colors above 15, if you make them to plot to pen number 16, then they should print close to the screen color.

Thanks for the replies.

I find that Printer > Setup > Pick Printer driver > Properties has basic setting but nothing about color.
This applies for all HP drivers.

I've used several Pen Tables, including file called
ScreenTable.dpf where all the standard colors are set to 16.
Dcadwin.dpf all standard colors set to 1
Several other files with pens settings all set.

I just tried another file with the same Datawin.dpf set the same settings as above, and the print file shows colors.

Is the drawing perhaps corrupted somehow?

Is there a good way to export all the layers and preserve the views to create a new drawing??

I used "purge" and "saved all the Views", removing empty layers and created a New drawing.
Then loaded that drawing and tried setting up Dcadwin.dpf identicaly,
In Print > Pen Table > uncheck "Print all in Black"
In Print > Pen Table > checked "Map fill colors to Pen colors"
Standard Color pens set to 1

It still only prints in B&W

I found the problem.
I had a pen table specified to be used for "Scale to Pen"
After removing those Scale to Pen settings, the drawing does print in color.
Now I am wondering if the pen table referred to, has these
Settings
In Print > Pen Table > uncheck "Print all in Black"
In Print > Pen Table > checked "Map fill colors to Pen colors"

I am going to check that.
Ok, even though I was changing the Pen Table to various selections, and had properly set those settings, it still showed b&w because the Scaled Pens settings were pointing to a different Pen Table!

So I have changed that Pen Table to the proper settings and now it works.

Can you post a screenshot of your pen table and your drawing in Datacad so we can see what your working with?
