Selection window not working correctly

Is anyone finding that the selection window is acting like a crossing selection when crossing function is not selected/switched on?

It sounds like you may have the option toggled on, that automatically toggles on Crossing when you draw it starting at the lower right, going to the upper left? If you draw it from the upper left, to the lower right, it is normal.
