Has anyone out there tried running DataCAD 22 in Windows 11?
If so, did it work fine :D or did you experience problems :x ?

Been running it since it released on the 5th, and as far as Datacad is concerned I have not had any issues. Most of my gripes have been UI related changes which I am using Stardock's Start 11 beta and winaerotweaker to get most of the functionality removed by MS back. My suggestion would be unless someone has to upgrade, I would hold off unless they have to. I would have rolled back to Windows 10 for 6 months or so if I didn't have to support other users who will be upgrading in the near future.

From what I've read online, Windows 11 doesn’t have any huge features that make it a must-upgrade, and you need to be aware that not all Windows PCs will be able to run Windows 11.

To see if your PC will run Windows 11, download and run the "PC Health Check App".

I am running Dcad in Windows 11. I am having a few issues. Drawing is often a little shaky or unsure. Years ago when this happened I would press X, and the shakeyness would go away.
The other problem is that when I click on PRINT the Dcad session will immediately close. That means no printing. I am not sure, but may be a win11 problem.

Under Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners check to see if 'Let Windows manage my default printer' is On. If so, turn it Off.

Last I've seen, Trimble (Sketchup Pro and Layout) is saying don't upgrade to Windows-11. What they're not saying is if there's a problem...or just they're still doing the functionality reviews.

My father's Ophthalmologist is still running Windows XP for his linked PCs throughout the office.

I just installed Datacad 22 using Parallels on my Mac Book Pro with the M1 chip. Datacad runs fine but I can't open any CAD files I created in Windows 10. I can create new drawings, save, and re-open but can't open existing drawings. It may be a permissions issue but I'm set up as Admin and Parallels has full disk access. Anyone else using Parallels?

Hi Guys. I just figured it out. All my CAD files are in Dropbox and when I installed it on my laptop, I did not install a local copy. My files were showing Zero bytes. Once I stored the CAD file on my computer instead of the cloud, it opened just fine.
