I had a coworker present me with a drawing situation that has left me confounded. He dimensioned and noted his floor plan using the arial font, and at the time everything looked fine. But today when he opened it, the text was just outlined (not filled) and all the text didn't identify as text, but as individual lines and arcs. So, the text cannot be edited. I managed to type new text without any problems. I have never experienced this before, and could not figure out how it could have happened. Any one have any ideas?

The 3D Explode menu can do this - possibly they did something in that menu, and accidentally selected TTF exploding?

Thank you, that appears to be it ('explode' on the 3D menu). Now the real mystery was how he applied that to his whole drawing without knowing he did it...I'd rather not go down that road.
