My drawings unexpectedly close in the middle of work. This happened when I was using DataCAD 22 and now with DataCAD 23. Is this a problem with the program or my computer, If a problem with the program any ideas on how to fix it. If its my computer I may need to get a new one. I don't have this problem with any other program on my computer.

Any help is greatly appreciated. :?

Does this happen on every AEC file, or only certain ones?

Hi Terry,

Unless it's crashing during printing, (the printing functions were getting upgraded during the v22-23 cycle and had some issues crashing for us) I would typically lean towards something in the drawings or your symbol files causing the crashing in most cases. Can you give some example of a common functions that seems to cause the drawings to crash? Without any info on how it's crashing, it's hard to suggest solutions to try other than running a repair on the files, purging the files or importing the trouble files into a new blank AEC file. Also, if you are using xrefs of other files in your drawings, remember to run the same repairs, purge or import into new base file on those files as well as problems in those files could show when they are xrefed into other drawings.
