trying to draw help lines and the alias shortcut isn't working...

What shortcut?
Restart program?
Reboot computer?
Paste copy of alias here.

Am trying to use the alias shortcut (from the list) for helplines...ie. XL or XLINE and neither seems to work. rebooting, etc. does nothing and works fine in 22...(which I still have loaded and am currently using)

I don't have that one, it must be a custom one that was developed, so it's hard to help. That is why I had asked for you to post the code.

It should be something simple as:
Alias=^:^S4^

Not sure what the issue was but just copied the dca file from my 22 version and now it's working....was an alias I wrote some time ago apparently and had forgotten that was the case . Anyhow thanks for your input

That will work 50%± of the time if you are in the Edit Menu.
If you use what I had the ":" will take you to the Utility Menu, then S4 to Helplines.
